Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
If you've always wanted to purchase a robot vacuum, now is the time to get one. CNET's top-rated models are available for sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with savings of up to 57%..
The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also self-empties and refills its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.
The Roomba J7+, iRobot's smartest robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. Its biggest advancement is an obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to recognize objects like charging cords, shoes, and the dreaded pet waste that the majority of other robots cannot avoid (and often plough right through). It's the first robot to send you a picture of an object that it encounters, meaning you can instruct that it is safe to avoid it.
The Combo J7+ is the most effective mop-bot we've ever tested, picking up dirt and spills with ease while leaving no trace it was there. It's easy to control through the iRobot Home app that lets you schedule cleaning and set up Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't clean areas you don't want it to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can turn it on and off using your voice.
The design is also superior to the other models. It has a sleek, high-end piece that looks like a toy rather than an obnoxious and loud robot. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt removal System also self-empties, which will reduce your cleaning time.
In our tests, the j7+ was quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes held the debris in place instead of scattering it on the floor. It even could catch small gravel and sand which other robots aren't able to do. It did all of this without getting tangled up in our pet's shedding hair.
While it's not quite as smart as the Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum and can't clean stairs, the J7+ is a solid option for those who need both mopping and a vacuum in their home. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.

Although the iRobot Home app is very easy to use, we've found it to be less reliable than other apps that use robotic cleaners. It can take some time to download updates and it can be difficult to determine if they are working until you see them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
When you're looking for an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, the best choice is probably a hybrid. These bots are equipped with a water tank, so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. They also come with various additional features, including smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the ability to wash and re-dry mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they tend to be pricey at full retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.
Roborock makes some of our favorite robot vacuums, and the Q5+ isn't an exception. It's the cheapest model of their auto-empty line. Although it might not have some of the more luxurious features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories) however, it's a great choice for those who are willing to make some compromises to save a few dollars.
The Q5+ is notably soft around obstacles like tables and walls which makes it a great option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough when it comes to cleaning up dust bunnies, which is an area which many robot vacuums can really be a bit sloppy. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is superb and has very few missing in corners and on walls.
The Q5+, just like other Roborock products can be controlled via only a few buttons on your device, or via the Roborock App. The app allows you to start and stop cleaning. You can also set schedules, design virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map, or change the room's label.
If you decide to go with the Q5+, it comes with a new auto-empty dock that's designed specifically to make this machine easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver but once in place, emptying the bin is done easily. It has a large LCD screen which is helpful in setting up schedules and altering settings. This isn't an essential feature for everyone but it will aid in keeping track of the maintenance intervals for your robot easily.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively clever in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design is among the best in the industry however, it's costly.
It's a small base station that looks great and is easily hidden when not in use. The station's main selling point is that it can automate many tasks, functions, and chores that other robots would leave to you. It can keep clean and dirty water and electrolyze and heat the water. The majority of other robots require you to perform this.
Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive, too. It's the only robovac I've tested that does well at picking up debris from bare floors. And it's not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly when it comes navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren’t as reliable as other robotvacs. This means that it can get stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms in the home. It's not able to climb stairs as well as some competitors, for instance and it doesn't have a dock that allows you to create an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for plush carpets.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great option for those looking for a vacuum robot that can do everything.
However, if you're looking to save some money or don't want to think about the limitations of this robotic there are many other options on the market which include a variety of eufy models for considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for example is less expensive and has more features, such as stair climbing and a full-function Dock, that provides a better overall vacuuming experience on floors that are unfinished carpets with low pile, and even high-pile ones.
4. eufy RoboVac G30
eufy is an Anker company with a long history of creating robot vacuums that have the right balance of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning of carpets and hard floors, as well as mopping functions at an affordable price. It's easy to setup simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, turn it on and plug in the charging dock. The app walks you through several steps to connect to your Wi-Fi, and the G30 is ready to go. The dock will need to be located near an outlet and have enough space to move.
The G30 is a tiny device that measures 2.85 inches in height, which means it is able to be placed under most couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. Its design is less ostentatious compared to some rival models. It is sleek with a black finish and three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral fashion over two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.
The primary aspect that makes the G30 apart from most competitors is the way it cleans. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of immovable objects it encounters while retaining what it's cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. It will return to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning where it left off.
The elegant G30 isn't without faults however. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower cost of operation. It charges faster, offers the same battery life and performs better on bare floors or low-pile carpet. It comes with a larger dust bin that does not require as much emptying. robot vacuum cleaner for sale has boundaries that prevent it from certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't require as frequent emptying and it struggles less with heavy materials such as cereal.
